Special online screenings will be streamed on Chinese streaming site iQIYI during the upcoming May Day holiday running from May 1 to 5, announced the Beijing International Film Festival and the streaming giant on Tuesday.
It is part of the duo's efforts to enrich online content for Chinese audiences as most cinemas in the country remain closed amid the COVID pandemic. Chinese director Chen Kaige, actor Tong Dawei and actress Tan Zhuo will act as curator to work on the screening list, which is to be released soon.
