'My Dear Lady' releases on Sohu TV

The 16-episode streaming drama My Dear Lady, starring Jiang Mengjie, Mi Lu and Li Qingtian, landed on Chinese streaming site Sohu TV on Thursday. 

The story focuses on a woman who returns to work following a failed marriage and the financial difficulties she must face. 

Liu Mingli, the series' producer, said that Sohu TV's streaming drama strategy is to produce small budget dramas that are still beautiful. Liu said she thinks it is important to spend show budgets "on key aspects of the show and tighten the storytelling."

Additionally, romance will continue to be a key theme for Sohu TV dramas such as Well-intended Love.
