Sohu TV's livestreaming channel brings on popular actresses to increase influencer market share

Actress Annie Yi, who has grown in popularity after appearing on entertainment show Sisters Who Make Waves, joined Chinese streaming platform Sohu TV's live streaming channel to sell products together with the site's CEO Zhang Chaoyang on Monday. 

She also shared her recent performance on the show as well as helped sell fruits and vegetables for local farmers in Southwest China's Yunnan Province.  

The livestream is the platform's latest attempt at entering the influencer marketing area. Liu Mintao, another host from the show, will join the livestream on Tuesday.
