The Beijing Performance & Arts Group staged a musical dance performance on Tuesday night to mark the Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day, which was live streamed on Chinese video platform Kuaishou from Beijing's Minzu Theater.
Love in Qixi featured traditional songs from Chinese ethnic minority groups dedicated to the Qixi Festival, which aims to celebrate the touching legend of the star-crossed lovers known as the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, who only get to meet once a year.
The performance also included original songs paying tribute to medical staff working on the front lines of the COVID-19 epidemic.
