Biman resumes operations on Dhaka-London route

Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Sunday resumed scheduled international flight operations on Dhaka-London-Dhaka route after almost three months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A release issued by Biman Deputy General Manager (public relations) Tahera Khandker said a BG001 (Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner Gangchil) left Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 12:02 PM carrying 187 passengers .

Biman will operate one weekly flight on Sunday on Dhaka-London route, added the release.

Biman said that it has started flying again by providing hygiene kit during the time of issuing boarding pass, following seat allotment rules of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, ensuring that the cabin crews are following health rules and disinfecting the aircraft following ICAO guidelines to secure travel environment.

The last flight on Dhaka-London route was operated on 30 March.
